Nope! Our brush cleaner is designed to work with just water. The motor spins forwards and backwards to make sure your brushes receive a thorough scrubbing. If you have heavily used brushes or would like them to be extra clean, you can use a brush detergent.

Yes, the machine although cleans your brushes easily, does still get dirty. For most maintenance cleans you can just simple rinse the compartments out after a use cycle and you will be good to go again!

Cleaning takes just 5 minutes. You also have two drying options. 2-Hours for small brushes or sponges. 5 Hours for large brushes or sponges.
